What We Do

For children and young people

    • Play Sessions: We provide two structured play sessions per week for children with additional needs and their siblings, facilitated by trained volunteers; one morning (for pre-school children); one afternoon (for pre-school and school age children).
    • Music Club: A music club provides Music Therapy with multi-sensory equipment.
    • Communication Groups: We run communication groups for 1 -3 yr olds with a qualified therapist.

  • Osteopathy Clinic: An osteopathy clinic for babies and children run by specialised paediatric osteopaths helps health problems.
  • Sibling Workshops: We run sibling workshops with qualified counsellors.
  • Bubbles: Bubbles offers support for children with multi-sensory impairments.
  • Girls Connect: Set up by Louise Vallis, Girls Connect is a support group for teenage girls and young adults with Aspergers / High Functioning Autism and their familes. Regular activities help the girls to make friends and practise social / relationship / life skills.
  • Fun Days: During holidays and half-term we run occasional fun days with suitable activities for all the family to attend.

For Parents & Carers

  • Information: We provide information through talks and workshops on health, early intervention programmes and maths approaches.
  • Support: We provide individual counselling and a support group session facilitated by a qualified counsellor. Complementary therapies are available for parents and carers.
  • Health Advice: Specialist Health Visitors attend to give advice on dietary needs, continence, sleep or other health matters.
  • Benefits Advice Surgery: This service offers advice and information on benefits and help to complete the Disability Living Allowance form.
  • Special Educational Needs Advocacy Service: A consultancy service provided by a qualified lawyer which offers information and advocacy to help parents obtain the best possible support for their children at school.
  • Families Helping Families: We run 6 week courses for parents/carers to help them deal with the behavioural issues of their children.
  • Richmond Parent Carers Action Group: Me too & Co helped to establish and now mentors the Richmond Parent Carers Action Group which ensures parent participation in the development of services within Richmond.
