A new support group for Asperger’s Syndrome/High Functioning Autistic Teenage Girls & Their Families

This is a new support group for families with teenage girls with Asperger’s/High Functioning Autism. The age focus is 13+ to young adult. The main purpose of this group is to provide mutual support.

The group meets regularly at coffee mornings, talks, events:

• to offer the girls/mothers/families the chance to get together and share experiences and information;
• for the girls to build friendships on-line and at regular activities where they can practise social/relationship/life skills;
• to prepare the girls for independent living after school and home. 

We hope our group will further the understanding of Asperger’s and HFA in teenage girls.

Monthly Coffee Mornings for Mothers
